This course prepares students to migrate legacy applications and consolidate server functions by using Microsoft Virtual Server 2005. At the end of the course, students will be able to Install and configure Virtual Server 2005, Configure virtual machines on Virtual Server 2005, Migrate applications and servers to virtual machines.

Messaging and collaboration on Exchange Server 2007

You install Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, examine Active Directory integration, and configure mailbox servers, Outlook and mobile clients, recipient objects, and unified messaging. You will learn to manage Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. You will learn about e-mail addresses, address lists, message transport, messaging policies, anti-spam, management shell, mailbox recovery, and edge transport servers. You will examine the planning requirements for the deployment of a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 infrastructure. This includes server and message routing, coexistence and upgrade scenarios.

High Availability for Exchange Server 2007

You also examine various scenarios for upgrading to Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 from an existing messaging solution and the considerations involved in planning a highly available implementation. You build upon your knowledge of Exchange Server 2003 to implement Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. You also explore designing a disaster recovery strategy, Exchange server policies, and a highly-available Exchange server solution.
